high strung night

I have wardrobe malfunction tendencies all the time. Turning up with the appropriate dress code is something I find difficult because I simply love dressing down. I love casual and understated pieces, trying to carry off some effortless put together look which often ends up being sloppy. But honestly between casual sloppy and prude I would rather choose the former. So the night when my girlfriends and I were out for a Cosmopolitan event, I was worried that I'll get denied entry at the door for improper attire (like who wears white sneaks to a magazine event omg) but I made it anyways(: Happy am I. Marissa was so sweet helping me whatsapp my picture to the rest checking if I can even get in...sadistic love much appreciated lol. Seriously must I wear freakum heels to events like this? I hate heels and I walk like a horse in them.

We are supposed to vote for the best and hottest mixologist in the house but honestly none of them look the same as on magazine's pictures. Even if they look the same, I'm not so impressed I would say :/  Anyways after each mixologist's performing stint on stage, their pre-mixed shots would be distributed all round the floor by hot looking caucasian waiters/waitresses. 4 mixologists for the night means you get to try 4 shots, on top of a complimentary alcoholic drink of any sort your choice. I can't drink for nuts now I'm quite sure to say..not that I aspire to be some super social alcohol tanker but I thought I could at least hold it or something. Nah...not. But it was awesome fun we had among us girls while the mixologists do their boring performing stints and a lousy host babbling the night away. Event management is really not a easy feat.
