Its so refreshing to sing along to this song. Good to listen when your jaded. Jaded of life and depressing songs can be healing. Kinda therapeutic at the same time. Its like a confession to the lost loved one, mourning and stuffs before things get better. Don't be mistaken, I'm not depressed I'm an optimistic person. I got the "light is at the end of the dark tunnel" kinda feeling whenever I listen to this song. The emotion is so raw, it just gets to me everytime I watch it. I think she was singing about her abusive mum who passed at that time so crying at the end was definitely not accidental.

How come these music videos of depressing songs have large face profiles in them? I enjoy watching this video. Its like morbid or something, with thom yorke holding his breath for the longest time halfway of the song. I'm impressed by how long he could hold his breath! Definitely going to try that when I go swimming sometime. But thats besides the point, the lullaby melody is both simplistic and enchanting at the same time. Perfect to sleep in to the tune, sadness flowing into the river of time..STONE

Nirvana Something In The Way
What can be more depressing than the suicide of kurt cobain itself? I think this song is somehow related to his long battle with depression. Hence the chorus 'Something In the Way'. On Point.
It always amazes me how sad songs can sometimes have such an impact on people. They have the ability to change ones mood, sometimes to hope and sometimes to despair.
