It's Okay

Because we are more often than not plagued by the negativity of life, blinded by the harsh reality over logic and rarely praised for a job well done, I just want to tell all my friends that It's Okay. We are all worried of what the future entails, especially when it seems so bleak in this economic climate. To make things worse, we are judged by the people around us on the choices we make. Whether we apply for an engineering job at a prestigious company, or how much is the payout of the job, we are constantly watched whether we like it or not. Watched by fellow coursemates, watched by families and friends. Because they have expectations of us to make calculated and sensible choices as mature adults.

This is so tiring. But It's Okay.

I face the same problems and dilemma as you guys too. I'm worried whether I'll have a job after I graduate because in this economic climate, doing what you like is only secondary. Hard and sad truth. I'm not going to be like a Rastafarian here, telling people to not find a decent job or just follow your dreams because that is just so not practical. What I'm saying is, we face problems and we need to overcome them together cos we need to keep up with the pace of life.

...I WANT TO SAY THAT; I can see the potential and talents of all my friends and I'm so so glad to have them as my friends. We have so much dreams and we can do so many things. I have friends who want to travel the world, open a cafe, design stuffs, draw, play music, cycle, write, read, take photographs whatever and they can be so good at what they do. I hope they keep on keeping on doing things they love and not give up. Really, just keep doing it over and over. If it does not succeed, just keep trying. Cos I will try too!

I hope my friends will still be doing the same stuffs or maybe improving or doing something big when I meet them years down the road. goodluck with whatever you are doing! Keep calm and Keep on.
