pleasant surprise (:

Went Rochester Park on wed night for a belated birthday celebration(:
it was my first candlelit dinner..and seriously i nearly panicked and didnt know what to do..they practise the white table towel on your lap kinda thing and push in the chair for you when you sit...and im totally not used to it. ed brought his own white wine..thought it was kinda cool..wiesling or sth i think,his fav. Its dry and has this zesty after taste which goes well with the food. Had clam chowder soup and macadamia crust fish..chewy and juicy! and he had smoked chicken which came in the form of a giant shepherd pie..looks damn funny haha.

even the gloomy weather doesnt seem so gloomy in rochester. the dim lightings are really nice..the place is on a hilltop and is like a mini jungle in the urban city. a tex-mex restaurant and its a really nice chillax place..hmm second to bukit timah. but i still like BT moree!
oh ya and theres this noob waiter who kinda ruined ed's surprise...damn funny!

got a fossil card holder which i really liked alot..nope i didnt mention anything or hinted to him on what i want to get. anyway i really appreaciated the dinner and everything. im glad i know much more stuffs about him now..yup! i got a rose too :D

Shan and qing were very sweet too! They gave me a pair of reef slippers which i needed alottt and a spongebob balloon..to embarasee me. WAHA..but its damn funny when shan took it out during fluids lecture break..she got this funny facial expression, priceless. I dont need a bash or something to remind me im turning 20. i just need a simple meal to catch up and make the day pass (: I really enjoyed the lunch..it was super duper funny! We shall go chillax after exams! we MUST!!
